00:06 influenced by the leadership that once planted an ideology and doctrine,

00:13 voting for UMNO, voting for the National Party,

00:16 and our faith has fallen, we are infidels and traitors.

00:20 UMNO Secretary-General Ashraf Wajdi Dusuki has urged past leaders

00:24 to correct the thinking among their grassroots members,

00:27 who believe that UMNO is a party of infidels or non-believers.

00:33 He said any differences the two parties may have on the political front

00:37 must not be regarded as having differences in their religious beliefs as well.

01:25 Yesterday, Religious Affairs Minister Naim Mokhtar advised Muslims

01:29 not to accuse fellow Muslims of being kafir or an infidel,

01:33 as such accusations are extremely serious and unwarranted.
