00:00 So, we are all here in Kenya and in Kenya, we have accepted the negotiations with our friends.
00:10 There is no half cut. Even our two-year-old.
00:16 I have heard that he said he doesn't want a half cut.
00:20 So, if he has said he doesn't want a half cut, and we told him that our condition is two of his.
00:27 If we don't talk about a half cut, we will talk.
00:31 If we don't talk without a veto, we will talk.
00:37 So, we tell him today, we are ready to engage with you on the basis of mutual respect.
00:45 Not with threats, not with blackmail.
00:49 You must not blackmail us.
00:51 That if we don't do what you want, that you will go back to the streets.
00:56 And we want to tell you, even those streets, if you want to go back,
01:00 you will be punished for what you have done to those people.
01:03 Blackmail them, and put them in jail.
01:06 And finally, we want to tell them,
01:09 don't tell the Kenyan people that you are not interested in a half cut,
01:14 then you want us to engage behind closed doors.
01:17 I have spoken to former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka this morning,
01:21 and I have told him we have agreed on Wednesday 11.30am, we shall meet.
01:28 But we want to meet in a public place, like Bomas of Kenya,
01:34 and we want cameras in that meeting,
01:36 so that you tell us, and the people of Kenya want to hear,
01:40 what you are coming to transact in that room.
01:43 So, our conditions are three.
01:45 No violence, an end to violence.
01:48 No blackmail, and we want an open engagement on issues
01:53 that touch on the lives of the Kenyan people.
