00:00 As I was telling there is a highest level of policy and political will on Pochon Abhijan.
00:19 For last one year Pochon Abhijan has been launched in many Indian states.
00:26 The Pochon Abhijan also witnessed observation of Pochon Ma or Nutrition Month in last September.
00:34 Millions of community members, women, pregnant, lactating mothers participated on Pochon Ma
00:42 which is also a very important historic achievement in India.
00:49 Under Pochon Abhijan different food items, staple foods such as milk, wheat, flour, edible
00:59 oil, rice were mandated under food certification program which is likely to address micronutrient
01:11 deficiency.
01:13 Another substantial achievement is under Pochon Abhijan is convergence.
01:18 Pochon Abhijan facilitated convergence between health and ICDS.
01:25 It also facilitated convergence between health ICDS and rural development and local government.
01:30 Pochon Abhijan also steered John Andolan and it was more successful in during last September.
01:38 Also another unique feature of Pochon Abhijan is common application software which through
01:46 digital medium Pochon Abhijan enriches transparency and better public accountability.
01:52 So, that is also another achievement of Pochon Abhijan, but more important is the political
01:58 will, the political leadership and many institutional arrangements which have come out due to Pochon

02:06 There is a national council which is also chaired by vice chair Niti Aayog which sits
02:13 and reviews and provides policy directions.
02:15 There is a national executive body, there is a national technical board and similar
02:19 steps are also being taken at the state level.
02:22 So, this is also another significant achievement of Pochon Abhijan on addressing institutional
02:27 arrangement to address micronutrient deficiency and malnutrition in India.
