Cause of death for man found on golf course investigating

Investigations are underway after a man's body was discovered at a golf course in the Sydney suburb of Eastlakes.

00:07 But this morning, a man's body was found floating in one of its ponds at around about half past

00:14 Police have been on site here all day and just after lunchtime, police divers were able

00:20 to retrieve the man's body and it will now be examined.

00:25 Police are also likely to undergo an autopsy in the coming days to ascertain just how this

00:30 man died and whether or not there were any suspicious circumstances involved.

00:35 This has obviously been quite a change of pace for what usually happens here at this

00:40 golf course.

00:41 As I said, this is one of Australia's most exclusive courses and throughout the day,

00:45 golfers have not really let this deter them.

00:48 They've continued with their game, sometimes just metres from where all of this has been

00:52 happening.

00:53 This course is also going to play host to the Men's Australian Open later this year.
