Women's Captain and LFC Life Member Hayley Whyte playing 150th game this Saturday against South Launceston.
Transcript
00:00 I've got Patti White here from Ranceston Blues, the captain.
00:04 Obviously you've got your 150th senior game milestone this weekend.
00:09 Just for starters, how are you feeling about it?
00:11 The build-up's been a bit different this year compared to my 100th game
00:17 because we've got a lot of young girls and stuff like that.
00:20 So yeah, my role's changed this year, just mentoring them through.
00:24 I've thought about it a little bit but not a whole heap.
00:28 I like telling people about it though.
00:31 Yeah, it's pretty rare. We have a lot of women right now reaching 50 games.
00:37 I think I only know of one other that's reached 100 in Willamie Kinnell, I believe.
00:43 But I haven't heard of anyone local who'll get to 150.
00:46 So do you realise the significance of it?
00:48 Yeah, I do.
00:50 But the thing for me is I kind of took my 100th game for granted
00:55 so I didn't really take that time on the field to have a look around
00:58 and really take it all in.
01:00 Where I think this weekend I'll really soak it all up.
01:04 I've never played anywhere else but Lonnie.
01:08 150 club games just for Launceston's pretty unreal.
01:12 Tell me about the one club aspect. Is that something you're really proud of?
01:16 Yeah, it is. We've been working really hard this year to improve our culture
01:22 and really gel together and just make it a better, more fun environment.
