A charity which helps local communities held a free fun day on August 9 for families in Greater Manchester. Feedo Needo aids people struggling with the harsh realities of homelessness and hunger, and its outreach service in Manchester provided a day of free food and activities for children at the Feedo Needo community cafe at Droylsden Junior Football club.
The event was open for anyone to attend and families could get involved with face painting, have a bounce on the bouncy castle, take part in the raffle and even take a tour of a real-life fire engine.
Local community organisations such as AgeUK gave advice and information to local people - and free hotdogs and toasties were provided for lunch.
We went down to speak to staff from Feedo Needo and take a look at the day's festivities.
