00:00 Good morning everyone, this is the press conference of Yunus Musa. Let's start with questions from Mauro Suma for Milan TV.
00:08 Thank you Nicola, good morning Yunus.
00:11 In Valencia you were coached by Rino Gattuso, who was an absolute glory here, and also by Gigi Riccio, who worked with him when Rino coached Milan.
00:21 Did you have the chance to exchange some jokes during that time? Did Rino and Gigi tell you something about Milan, about his history, about his culture?
00:32 Yes, of course. Gattuso used to tell me stories about what happened here at Milan, when he played and he gave me some advice as a midfielder.
00:43 And then, after the World Cup, I think he made a joke about me not being there next year, but I would be in Milan instead.
00:55 And yes, in the end it happened.
00:58 At the moment of your presentation, the fans were impressed by your Italian, by the way you were dressed, very elegant in the classical sense of the word.
01:12 Was it also a way of respecting the club you were playing for, to convey your satisfaction, your joy, to be able to come to Milan?
01:22 No, of course, I'm very happy to be here. I can't wait to play, to help my teammates, to be a player for Milan. I'm very happy.
01:37 You've played all over the world, from London to the United States, Italy, Spain, and you've played a bit everywhere, even with Gattuso you played as a right-back. Tell us more about what kind of player you are.
01:52 Many have also brought you together with players from the past, for example recently with Frenkensie, but someone says you're even more offensive. What kind of player are you?
02:01 I think I'm a player who likes to do a bit of everything in midfield. I like to come down, I like to dribble and bring the ball forward, to be aggressive when I'm defending.
02:19 I think I have the power to do a bit of everything when I'm in front of the ball.
02:33 My second and last question is about the 'smile' game between you and Ciuquenzi. Who wins?
02:39 If you've heard anyone talk about my past, Castellet, or if Gattuso called you after the official announcement, did you hear anything?
02:47 He said it was a game between me and Ciucu.
02:50 The smiles!
02:51 The smiles! I don't know, he smiles a lot too. It's great to have someone like him in the dressing room. I haven't spoken to Gattuso yet, but now that he's told me I'll have to call him.
03:10 Francesco Rocchi, come on.
03:12 Hi Younus, you're only 21 years old, but you've had a great career. From Giorgione to Castelfranco, Veneto, through to the English national team, Arsenal and Valencia, and now to Milan.
03:24 From Giorgione to Milan, would you have ever said that?
03:28 No, I would never have said that. When you say it like that, it's a great story. I've done so many tours around the world, and then I came back to Italy to play for Milan. It's a great story and I'm very happy.
03:47 Let's go to the back, Sport Italia, Viscogliosi.
03:50 Hi Younus, welcome. What does it mean for you to come to a dressing room with so many new faces? Do you feel the energy that Stefano Pioli has talked about and what relationship are you building with the coach?
04:01 Yes, as you said, it's a dressing room full of players with a lot of talent who have done a lot of things in football. It's a privilege to work with them every day.
04:19 I want to take this opportunity to improve as a player, to learn from them. I want to be a better player and I want to get to the top. I'm ready to work every day to get to this.
04:37 Luca Bianchini, Zette dello Sport.
04:39 Hi Younus, can you tell us a little bit about your Italian childhood?
04:55 My Italian childhood was very beautiful. I have a lot of good memories from when I was a kid. I used to go to football tournaments, we even played in Futsal tournaments.
05:12 We did very well. In the summer I was always playing football with my older brother and his friends. My mum had a shop near the pitch so when we were hungry we would go to the shop to get a snack and then we would go back to play.
05:31 It was beautiful in Italy. We could go out to the streets and my parents were not worried. It was very nice.
05:44 Stefano Scacchi, La Stampa.
05:46 You grew up in Italy. Did it help you to accept the offer from Milan?
06:08 It was a decision that helped me because I lived here before. I knew I could come here and I didn't have to start with a new language or a new country. I could immediately settle in and be comfortable.

07:52 I am talking to the coach now. He is teaching me how to play. I want to learn as quickly as possible to understand how to play and help the team when I have the chance to play. I want to be able to join the team as soon as possible. The coach is helping me a lot.
