00:00 I got one thing, one more thing to mention too, about the tweet as well.
00:05 I thought that was a great thing for me because it is a learning and building experience for
00:09 me you know.
00:12 The way I look at that is, I don't have any type of hatred, I don't disgrace anybody,
00:19 you know.
00:20 I have love for everybody, all people.
00:22 I don't care who you are, black, white, Puerto Rican, Dominican Republic, I don't care because
00:27 why, everybody is God's children in the eyes of God.
00:31 There's nothing in the Bible that says that only one specific race can make it into the
00:36 heaven gates.
00:37 Everybody can.
00:38 So the thing that I learned from that is, I can't allow people to, I can't allow like
00:45 a caption to define who I am because if I can explain for myself that, in that context
00:52 that, I feel like nobody listens to what Kanye West said and what Kanye West said is that
00:58 people who are the higher ups, we all know who higher ups are, it's like Coach Harbaugh
01:03 to us, he's the higher up and he says those.
01:06 And that context is that, it's like for me, I'm a black male, you know, and I look at
01:12 that very specifically and it's like black people are getting diminished as who, like
01:19 we're looking at like celebrities and like they're telling us, you know, this and that
01:23 and we're listening to these sort of rap lyrics.
01:26 So if like we're depriving ourselves and we all know this, if black people are depriving
01:30 ourselves of, you know, like race, calling girls off their names, talking about robbing,
01:35 stealing, killing, that's not good, you know.
01:37 So that's why, you know, I retweeted what I retweeted, you know.
01:41 It's not about I hate Jewish people, I don't hate Jewish people.
01:45 Black people are Jewish too.
01:46 You know, just like how there's many other races that are other races, you know.
01:52 I don't hate Buddhist people, I don't hate Muslim people.
01:54 I love all races because all religions are right, you know.
01:58 All religions have the same thing and that is to love God and to treat your neighbor
02:02 accordingly and to love each other the way that you love yourself.
02:06 So I've learned a lot from that, you know, and that's why, you know, I don't deprive
02:10 myself of who I am because I know who I am.
02:13 You ask people in this building who really know me, they will say I'm a great person
02:16 and I believe that myself too.
02:18 Just like how Isaiah has this Jesus is king, king, Jesus is king head on.
02:23 Yeshua is king to me, you know what I'm saying.
02:25 So I believe that with my whole heart, I apologize to anybody who I may have hurt and I understand
02:31 my actions and, you know, I will grow from it.
02:34 You know, it's taught me a lot.
02:35 So thankful that that happened as well.
02:36 >> Donovan, what did you gain from the experience of the Holocaust?
02:37 >> You was ready to ask that, weren't you?
02:43 So I said that, huh?
02:45 What I gained from it, truth be told, is that, you know, I've hurt people and I can live
02:52 with that, you know, because now I can build people up.
02:55 You know, it's not, it's, I may have made people's trust not be there for me, but I
03:02 don't care, you know, because people don't know who I really am.
03:05 They don't know the context of what I saw and what I retweeted, the real video, not
03:10 what a person said about it, make it happen, you know, and I'm not going to lie.
03:15 Like I was kind of, I'm not going to say what I've got to say because it's all right, but
03:23 I've learned a lot to be honest with you.
03:26 And I know that, I know that if I continue to be who I am, you know, I can gain the people,
03:32 I can gain the world back, I can gain people's trust back, you know, like I'm never going
03:36 to change who I am for anybody, you know.
03:38 Honestly, like my goal is to always do right by people.
03:42 My goal is to go above and beyond for people and to, you know, like help homeless people
03:47 up.
03:48 One of my main goals in life is to get into real estate so I can help out people who have
03:52 minimum incomes.
03:53 And I want to buy like a townhouse and like make the rent like $250, a nice apartment,
03:58 you know.
03:59 That's when I get my money up there.
04:02 I have to take care of myself too.
