00:00 You were in control for 65 minutes and then some little bit hairy towards the end?
00:07 Yeah, look, battler are always going to have their say but you're right, 65, probably very
00:12 dominant but I still thought we were in control even though it was capped on our line. We
00:16 defended with a really good attitude and energy and, you know, turning up for each other I
00:21 suppose. That's where the team-ship and mateship counts, I thought we had it in spades today.
00:26 Got up coming back, I thought they were brilliant. We had that grind, we just set for set for
00:31 long periods and they were good and they did what battler always do, they were hanging
00:35 there and they came up with a brilliant try, it must be brilliant to watch on TV and in
00:38 between that I thought we'd come up with a really good game to advertise the championship
00:41 and they hopefully dragged a few more fans along to watch those games but, you know,
00:46 had we lost it or even drawn it, I thought at the end, I thought it would have been,
00:49 I might sound a bit harsh to battler fans but I thought it would have been criminal,
00:53 they absolutely dominated the game but, you know, fortunately they did score a great shot
00:58 and made them score on the last blade of grass in the corner which made a really difficult
01:01 kick for Luke Cooley. I don't know, it's a standing game and he'll probably go away a
01:05 little bit sour on the kick but, you know, on the whole I thought we deserved winners
01:09 but it was a really good game, wasn't it?
01:10 Did you watch the kick?
01:11 The kick?
01:12 Yeah.
01:13 Yeah, I watched it and it was silent. It had been quite noisy before then, it went really
01:16 quiet and obviously a lot of fans were behind them so I was thinking it had gone straight
01:20 through but it was a difficult kick, difficult circumstances and unfortunately when the right
01:26 side hit right's first.
01:27 It was one of those days where you did what you needed to do to win.
01:31 Yeah, I thought we were good. We probably didn't challenge them quite enough, we were
01:33 happy just turning the ball over, I thought we needed to just push a little bit more and
01:36 I think there were more points in that for us because it took a lot of energy away from
01:39 us, our control of the ball and the territory we had so, yeah, it's a final look whether
01:44 it's one point, ten points, thirty points, no one cares at the end of the day, the name
01:47 on the trophy will be on the back of the fans' list.
