00:00looking at the list of free agents just available on the internet it's not a
00:04great deal of them who you think could potentially come in. I know that I spoke
00:10to people in Germany about Christoph Kramer who obviously won the World Cup
00:14with Germany in 2014, played under Farka during the 22-23 season at Borussia
00:20Mönchengladbach but left this summer, mutually terminated his contract after
00:23it became obvious that he wasn't going to play. He's had his injury
00:27issues. As far as I'm aware I've been told that he hasn't been
00:32involved in a professional setting since leaving his Mönchengladbach contract
00:37and you know his preference is supposedly to remain in Germany. He's
00:42got punditry work that apparently he's made a good impression doing. He's 33
00:46years old. Ultimately how much of an impact is he going to have, would he have
00:50if he were persuaded to come and join Daniel Farka? The people that I spoke to
00:54in Germany certainly can't see it happening or it being a likely one. Again
00:58you never rule things out in football but it's not one that I think is likely.
01:02There have been others that have been suggested. Tsheku Kiarte played with
01:06West Ham, played with Crystal Palace out of contract as of this summer. How long
01:11will it take for him to get up to speed? What sort of training has he been doing
01:14since the expiry of his contract? Is it really worthwhile bringing him in on a
01:18deal until the end of the season when you know potentially January 1st you
01:22could have Ethan Ampadu back? Kiarte from Boxing Day 2023, he played six
01:30minutes for Forest in the second half of last season so it's difficult. The match
01:36fitness thing I think is probably Farka's biggest concern and you
01:41have to say with a player like that it's not even as if he was playing regularly
01:44up until May and has then had a few months off. You're actually saying he
01:49last played regular minutes. I mean last season was so sporadic for him. He only got
01:58208 minutes across the entire season so you're actually going to go back to the
02:0222-23 season and even then he had a big layoff for the hamstring. The
02:14difficulty is extreme.
