Transcript
00:00 Here's today's Husker Max Practice Report brought to you by Tracy's Collision Center
00:05 on 1499.3 KLIN.
00:09 Husker football offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield spoke Monday and said now with
00:13 the departure of Xavier Betts there will be some young wide receivers who will have an
00:16 opportunity to get onto the field.
00:18 I think it's a great opportunity.
00:19 You know, it's a great opportunity for us to see what these young kids can do.
00:23 We've got some young wideouts that are very talented and explosive and they're going to
00:26 get a chance, you know, if they prove it in practice they can do it, they can do it in
00:30 the game, so they're going to get a chance early to show what they can do.
00:31 Satterfield also touched on the backup quarterback position battle between Heimer Carberg and
00:36 Chubba Purdy.
00:37 They compete every single day.
00:39 Each one of them have different skill sets and different traits that they bring to the
00:42 table so you can game plan things and you can have plays ready for them to be able to
00:46 attack a defense, you know, maximizing what they do and what they do best.
00:49 So we're not ready to really name a number two guy right now but we feel that both of
00:54 them could go into a game and help us win.
00:55 With this Husker Max practice report, I'm Matt McMaster.
