Man arrested after pigs heads were left outside a pub in Birtley. Newcastle University are still assessing the site of a fire to a former halls of residence nearly two months on. And finally Go North East have announced services changes that will start from the 3rd of September.

00:15 A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and has been released on
00:20 bail.
00:21 Newcastle University are still assessing the site of a fire to a former halls of residence
00:25 nearly two months on.
00:26 Henderson Old Hall was damaged following a fire in June.
00:30 The university told the local democracy reporting service that they are still assessing the
00:34 damage to evaluate the safety and future options for the Grade 2 listed building.
00:40 And finally, Go North East have announced service changes that will start from the 3rd
00:43 of September.
