00:09 is thought to be suspicious. Plumes of thick smoke were seen rising over the village after
00:14 the dilapidated Ladybird Lodge and school lane caught fire at around 7pm. Four fire
00:21 engines were called to the site near Longton Primary School and the recreation ground,
00:26 with crews working at the scene until 9.30pm. The fire service has reported the incident
00:31 to the police.
00:33 A new fitness studio and wellbeing centre could be opening on Vicarage Lane in Poulton
00:38 in place of a former nightclub. An application has been lodged with planners via council.
00:43 The new centre, called JT Fitness, will offer affordable healthcare services, mental health
