Greater Western Victoria Rebels livewire Rhys Unwin speaks after kicking three goals in his side's win against Geelong Falcons at Reid Oval on July 30.
Transcript
00:00 I'm joined by Arisianwin from Cobden. Mate, a win in your home region in front of a home
00:06 crowd. Must be happy with that against Geelong today?
00:08 Yeah, it was good. Good to play in Warrnambool today. Less of a drive. The boys played well
00:13 and it was good to see us get a win like that much.
00:18 What do you reckon you guys did well today?
00:19 I think it was a good team effort. We all played as a good team and we celebrated the
00:26 goals and we were good forwards. I think we all played well today.
00:32 And three goals for you. You happy with your own performance?
00:34 Yeah, three goals. Good goals but I tried to bank the points. I keep the points pretty
00:40 late on so I'll try to bank them next time probably.
00:45 To beat Geelong so convincingly and they were just above you on the ladder, that must give
00:49 the group a bit of confidence?
00:50 Yeah, definitely. I think we lifted pretty well today and it was good to see the boys
00:56 get up by that much.
00:57 And you're an underage player. Are you getting more confidence the more you play at the level?
01:02 It looked like it.
01:03 Yeah, definitely. I'm getting more confident in each game. It's good to be able to be a
01:07 part of all this and I'm just loving every bit of it.
01:11 Would you love to see any more games at Warrnambool in the future?
01:13 Yeah, definitely. I love it down here. It's a lot better than going up to Ballarat and
01:20 Melbourne and all that but it's all part of it I guess.
01:22 Thanks for the chat, Rhys.
