00:00 Thanks for joining us Shelby. You've just made the Rebels under-16 program. How are you feeling about that?
00:05 Yeah, good. I'm excited for what's going to come.
00:08 You've been playing footy here at Campaound with the boys the past two years. Can you tell us how that's helped improve your game?
00:13 It's helped me improve by teaching me how to take out hits, so whatever I got from that.
00:20 All of them helped me kick and footy and all that. None of them were all judging, but it was all helping and learning.
00:28 I got everything from that.
00:31 This season you'll be moving up to play in the Western Victoria League with South Warrnambool in the girls program.
00:37 How are you feeling about making that move?
00:39 Yeah, I'm pretty excited. I can't wait to play with some girls and be able to get along with some.
00:46 As a footballer, what do you think you can bring to a team?
00:49 I reckon I can bring all the positive attitude and everything. You've just got to keep your head up when the game comes.
00:58 Even if something bad is going to happen, you've just got to keep your head up.
01:01 What position do you like to play on the field?
01:04 I like to play ruck and forward line and sometimes back.
01:09 Making the Rebels team for the under-16s, Carnival, how exciting are you about that?
01:15 I'm pretty excited. Firstly going up to the girls league and then getting straight into this. I've probably been really happy.
01:24 One of your older brothers, you're one of five, but one of your older brothers, Toby, went through the Rebels. Has he given you much advice?
01:30 Yeah, he's given me advice by always keeping on my toes, being able to continue with what I'm doing and put my head up so I never look down and never frustrate with myself.
01:42 All right, best of luck shall we?
