00:58 When we opened the door to leave the property, he peed on the door and it was just kind of like, "See you later."

01:07 We got him in the car and he was just like a ball of like, "What is going on? What is..."

01:20 When I first took him back to my house, he was so anxious, frantic.
01:25 My intention was to find a foster for him.
01:30 And I felt like, "Wow, this is going to be a really hard one to get a foster for, so I need to spend some more time with him."
01:37 He was just literally running circles in my house.
01:40 He said, "See you later."
01:42 After that, it was to slowly introduce him to my dogs.

01:49 It was energy and just running around.
01:51 I think some of it was just like uncertainty and him being frantic.
01:55 Just couldn't quite come down.
01:57 It literally took a solid three days for him to just be able to decompress.

02:22 So it took about a week. Finally, he was able to kind of come down.
02:26 He came around, and we could tell he would be a wonderful dog.
02:30 He's a proud doggy.
02:33 It was so cute because Bonsai, my other dog, really took him under his wing and was showing him how to be a real dog.
02:39 He would take him around to the backyard, walk him back up the deck.

02:46 And then show him his toys.
02:48 Then, of course, as I always do, I got attached.
02:57 I'm a terrible foster failure.
03:01 I just decided that I loved Halo, and it just made sense.
03:07 He was just so confined before, and it's just pure joy being able to see him be able to run around.
