00:00 I drove over six hours to pick her up.
00:03 Oh my goodness! Oh my god!
00:08 I knew I wanted to help out and foster during quarantine.
00:13 Come here. Come here.
00:17 She was a little nervous at first.
00:21 Come on. Come on.
00:25 Come here. Yay!
00:28 Her name is Aspen and I'm bringing this puppy home.
00:32 Oh you're seeing my first gay face!
00:35 She was found as a stray in the streets of Fresno, California.
00:39 Is that official?
00:42 I already have 10 rescue dogs so I figured what's one more for a few weeks.
00:47 Before we headed out I wanted to slowly introduce her to the pack,
00:54 make sure everyone was feeling good and it went so well.
00:58 How amazing!
01:01 Hey Tony, what do you think? Is she cool?
01:05 I knew that I'd only have her for a short amount of time.
01:12 Because puppies this cute usually get adopted quickly,
01:15 I wanted to take her on an adventure of a lifetime.
01:18 We decided to really social distance and go on a camping trip.
01:23 Remember everyone, six feet, six feet apart.
01:28 I'm getting as far away from people as possible right now.
01:33 Is this better than the shelter? Yeah this isn't so bad is it?
01:38 We've been hiking, exploring and enjoying this beautiful weather.
01:52 Look at you!
01:55 Good girl!
02:00 I really can't believe how quickly she became part of the pack.
02:17 I love you puppy!
02:19 You found your spot? You like that bed?
02:34 After a few nights of camping we headed to Tahoe where we live.
02:40 Yeah get comfy. Home sweet home.
02:44 Yeah this is where we're going to be hanging.
02:48 She really fits right in.
02:53 This is Koda. I named her Koda. It's her first time in the snow.
03:00 That we know of.
03:03 I completely fell in love with this dog. I was going to adopt her myself but then
03:10 something completely unexpected happened.
03:14 Hey everyone! I hope you're doing great. So basically
03:18 I took her in for a checkup yesterday and the veterinarian immediately starts
03:22 getting teary-eyed. She had a husky for 12 years. Her husky
03:27 had passed away less than a week ago and she's explaining to me like all the
03:33 things they did together. She's really painting this beautiful
03:35 picture. By the way she then tells me that her little girl is home from school
03:40 because of the coronavirus. I felt like I knew what I needed to do because I
03:46 can't think of a family who needs a dog now more than ever.
03:51 And I said you know I didn't tell you this but I'm fostering this dog
03:55 and if you want to bring her home to your daughter
03:58 then you can. And she broke down and it started hugging me. She's a
04:04 veterinarian. The dog is going to have all the care
04:06 she could ever ask for. You know it's just a beautiful thing.
04:10 Yes I'm definitely sad. Like I miss the dog. I really love this
04:14 dog you know. This is for the best. That's it guys. Stay safe.
