00:00 We're standing here on the site of the Diagnostic Centre which is being built on the QEH. It
00:15 will bring to the hospital a really state of the art development which will have some
00:20 scanning facilities in it. So diagnostics we know are a really key part of our patients
00:25 pathway as part of their treatment. So within the Diagnostic Centre we will have additional
00:32 CT, MRI, X-ray and ultrasound. So it will be really helpful for all our patients in
00:37 terms of getting those diagnoses as part of their treatment.
00:46 The centre itself will be state of the art as you would expect and it has been quite
00:50 a long time to get to this point but it is a collaborative programme that we are working
00:55 on across Northumberland Waverley. So whilst this is the QEH Diagnostic Centre there are
01:00 also diagnostic centres being built at both James Patrick Hospital and the Northumberland
01:04 Orange Hospital. So a really exciting opportunity for us to work together to create some additional
01:10 capacity so it will mean more capacity for our patients.
