00:09 while the price of diesel will rise by P20.00,

00:12 while the price of kerosene will rise by P70.00.

00:14 This is the sixth week in a row that the price of gasoline has risen,

00:19 and the total price has reached almost P9.00.

00:22 The price of diesel and kerosene has risen by P11.00 and P12.00.

00:28 That's why taxi operators are also trying to increase their prices.

00:32 Philippine National Operators Association called the LTFRB

00:36 and asked them to issue a petition to raise the flag down rate

00:41 from P70.00 to P40.00.

00:44 In 2017, the last time a taxi fare rose was in 2017.

00:48 Last year, the LTFRB agreed to raise the flag down rate for taxis,

00:53 but only by P5.00.

00:54 The group said that they did not implement the petition

00:57 because they asked for P30.00 increase in the flag down rate in 2021.
