00:51 There was so much excitement about this new invention.
00:54 To increase the speed and distance one could cover, the front wheel got bigger.

01:10 You're a long way up and the speed you could go, 20, 30 mile an hour down a hill.
01:15 There were further refinements, improving the steering and safety by connecting the pedals to the rear wheel via a chain.
