00:00 could be a better leader for this team cuz I was an older guy and
00:02 I kind of want to lead that role to some of the older guys.
00:05 But now, God willing, it's my last season, I want to make sure I make my mark on
00:08 these young guys and my peers.
00:11 And I've really been making some strides, making some efforts to make sure I'm
00:15 being vocal and being out here encouraging guys and leading by example.
00:18 So still something I'm learning, but something I'm glad to do.
00:22 >> I know we're probably not gonna see you around here next year, but
00:24 you almost tempted to come back and play in the Big Ten?
00:27 >> It would be exciting to be able to play against some of those guys.
00:32 I mean, the Michigan State's great teams, great programs,
00:36 historical great programs.
00:38 But man, God willing, I'll be out of here.
00:41 But it is tempting to see what that experience would be like,
00:45 especially cuz all the stadiums, all the great settings for us to play in out there.
00:49 But not too tempted, not too tempted.
00:52 >> And you've hardly had a conventional college football career looking at what
00:56 happened two years ago, last year.
00:58 And now that this program has gone into the Big Ten,
01:00 you look at it like, what else can you do to me?
01:04 >> Yeah, I know, it's crazy.
01:05 I've had a lot of fluctuations throughout my college career.
01:07 It's been crazy from three head coaches to going to Big Ten,
01:11 to all these different changes to COVID.
01:14 It's been a lot, but all those things have been changes, trials, tribulations,
01:18 that have hopefully made me a better person, hopefully made me a better player.
01:22 And I'm grateful for it.
01:25 Not many people can say they went through all these things,
01:27 experienced all these things.
01:28 And I'm happy to experience all these things for
01:31 my one college career that I do have, so I feel very, very blessed.
