00:00Yeah, he was rested today.
00:02He should be back, good to go for the game, or for practice.
00:05Is there a player, maybe on each side of the ball, one or
00:07two players that you've been most impressed with, or stood out to you this fall?
00:11It's hard to right now, at the end of these last couple weeks,
00:15I'll probably look back and digest it.
00:17But there was some great leadership out there.
00:21It was great to see guys like Durfee being back, it was great to see Hatchett back.
00:26It was great to see Memolard back.
00:27It's great to see the control that Will Rogers has in the offense.
00:33It was great to see the amount of plays that our backs can make.
00:36I think DeMond is continuing to show that how quickly he's grown up.
00:43So all those things have been really good and exciting.
00:45You mentioned the play calling.
00:47Do you always handle all your offensive play calling?
00:49Yeah, but as a staff, we do a major focus on game planning.
00:55Everybody has their own area, and we all work together extremely well.
00:59This is our fourth year together, in terms of our preparation.
01:03But there can only be, I guess, one play caller on Saturday.
01:06And you've had callings for plays like that.
01:08How much input are you getting from Jimmy?
01:09Can you talk a little bit about that relationship with him up in the box when
01:13you're down on the field?
01:14Yeah, Jimmy and I have been together since 2016.
01:17This is our fourth team we've coached together at.
01:20I have unbelievable respect for him.
01:22We have a great trusting relationship.
01:25We talk all week long about what the quarterbacks are comfortable with.
01:30But then when it's go time, the call sheet's ready to go, and
01:34then we call the game.
01:36And that's kind of the way we've done it for years now.
01:39And we really built a great trust and relationship that anything that comes up,
01:45I always ask him.
01:47He's the guy that I speak with during the game.
01:49Yeah, two real different quarterbacks.
01:51Can we see a kind of a switch throughout the season with you changing things up
01:55just to keep the difference off the line?
01:58Now, why would I answer that question?
02:00Yeah.
