00:27 for the Justice Department compared to what they asked for.

00:30 23 billion pesos were not allocated for the new prison facilities.

00:37 The increase in the fund for food for each inmate

00:41 is now 70 pesos per day.

00:45 15 pesos for medicine.

00:47 The budget is 100 pesos and 30 pesos.

00:51 100 pesos for food and 30 pesos for medicine.

00:55 But they didn't give it to us.

00:57 DBM explained that the allocation of the funds to inmates

01:01 is also the same as the one held by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology or BJMP.

01:06 The reason why it was maintained is because

01:09 the impact of the other PDLs also being maintained by PDL

01:14 would amount to almost 3 billion pesos.

01:18 The Justice Department allowed the agency to look into the details
