02:15 And when it is said to them, "Believe in what Allah has sent down," they say, "We believe in what has been sent down to us. And we believe in what is in the heavens and on the earth."
02:22 And when it is said to them, "Believe in what Allah has sent down," they say, "We believe in what has been sent down to us."
02:44 And they deny what is behind it.
02:56 And it is the truth, confirming what it is.
03:08 And it is the truth, confirming what it is.
03:18 And it is the truth, confirming what it is.
03:42 If you are believers, Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
04:06 We are here with the new program of Dars-e-Quran.
04:24 Qari Sahib has recited Surah Baqarah verses 91 and 90 in a beautiful voice.
04:34 Let's see the translation and then move to the explanation.
04:38 Allah Almighty has said, "What a bad thing it is that they have sold their lives for,
04:46 that they disbelieve in the Book which Allah has revealed,
04:52 while they are over-excited that Allah has revealed the Book to His servants by His grace.
05:02 They are enraged and the punishment for the disbelievers is humiliation and humiliation.
05:10 And they are told, "Believe in all these books which Allah has revealed."
05:18 They say, "We believe in what has been revealed to us."
05:24 And they deny what is behind it.
05:26 Although it is the truth, confirming what it is.
05:34 If you believe in the Torah, why did you kill the prophets before this?
05:42 Allah Almighty has mentioned the stubbornness of the Jews and their conspiracies in Surah Baqarah.
06:02 In Surah Baqarah, Allah Almighty says, "What a bad thing it is that they have sold their lives for."
06:16 The word 'Ishtira' includes both 'adhdad' and 'khareed'
06:34 and it is used to mean selling.
06:40 Allah Almighty wants to tell us what a bad thing it is that the Jews have sold their lives for.
06:54 And what did they buy in return?
06:57 They bought misguidance and they bought the ways of Allah.
07:01 And what a bad thing it is.
07:04 What a bad deal it is.
07:06 What a bad thing it is that they bought their lives for.
07:11 Allah Almighty has made it clear that they denied what Allah has revealed.
07:24 And why did they deny?
07:27 Because of their jealousy and stubbornness.
07:37 When they were invited to believe in the Quran, they said that they do not believe in such a messenger.
07:47 They denied because of their lineage and they said that the last prophet should have come from the tribe of Ishaq.
08:00 So they were jealous of the Prophet and they were stubborn and they said that they will not accept the word of Allah.
08:17 (Arabic)
08:37 This is a sign of the tribe of Ismail.
08:40 Allah wanted to send a prophet from the tribe of Ismail.
08:49 This is Allah's will.
08:51 How did you think that you will decide where Allah will send the prophet?
09:00 And if he is not coming as you wish, then you will be jealous of him.
09:05 You will be arrogant of him.
09:07 You will be stubborn of him.
09:09 You will deny him.
09:11 Where did this come from?
09:13 This is Allah's will.
09:15 He sent a prophet from the tribe of Ishaq.
09:19 And he sent the prophet from the tribe of Ismail.
09:25 So if you are the believers of Allah, if you are the ones who accept the truth,
09:34 then just like you accepted the first prophets, you should accept the last prophet as well.
09:42 This is why Allah has said in the Quran that those who deny because of their jealousy,
09:58 (Arabic)
10:26 (Arabic)
10:30 They will return in a rage.
10:34 Allah has brought them in a rage.
10:38 Whenever he brings them.
10:40 Allah has mentioned two types of rage.
10:44 One type of rage is the one that Moses had brought.
10:51 And he was in a rage even then.
10:56 The history that Allah has mentioned, the way he behaved with Moses.
11:02 He was in a rage even then.
11:06 And when the last prophet, Prophet Muhammad came,
11:12 he denied the Prophet and had a bad attitude with him.
11:18 And he was in a rage again.
11:21 So their history is based on rage.
11:24 That is why Allah has said,
11:26 (Arabic)
11:28 That they returned in a rage.
11:31 And the sad thing is that they returned in a rage from the place where the sea of mercy is thundering.
11:41 Where mercy is mercy.
11:43 And if they wanted, they would have brought mercy from Allah's door.
11:47 They brought this rage from the door from which they could have brought mercy.
11:53 So Allah has said,
11:55 (Arabic)
12:04 The commentators wrote that from this verse we know that the torment of humiliation,
12:10 to humiliate someone is special with the disbelievers.
12:14 Their humiliation is their aim.
12:18 Some people will be punished and they will be purified.
12:23 And they will go back to heaven.
12:25 But the torment of humiliation,
12:31 is a manifestation of the wrath of Allah.
12:34 And this is generally stated for the disbelievers in the Holy Quran.
12:37 And you see, first of all,
12:39 Allah has stated for the Jews in the Holy Quran,
12:42 that Allah has specified the torment of humiliation for them.
12:47 So in verse number 90, Allah has stated that
12:52 they rebelled and insisted from Allah's messenger.
12:57 And they are jealous of the revelation of this book to the Prophet (PBUH).
13:05 And jealousy is such a thing that
13:07 it humiliated and disgraced the person who was involved in it.
13:12 This is why our religion has stated it harshly.
13:16 Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) has condemned it and has stated it very harshly.
13:22 He used to say that jealousy is something that brings down.
13:28 O Prophet (PBUH) what does jealousy bring down?
13:33 He said that jealousy brings down your faith.
13:37 The fire in the heart of a person,
13:43 burns the person.
13:47 It does not leave him.
13:49 So this is the thing that was born in the Jews for the Prophet (PBUH)
13:55 and it should not be of any place.
13:57 Neither of this world nor of the hereafter.
14:00 And then in verse number 91, Allah has stated,
14:04 and it has been made more clear in the next verse,
14:07 that when they are told,
14:09 "Believe in what Allah has revealed"
14:15 "Qalu" means "We believe in what has been revealed to us"
14:23 i.e. the Torah.
14:25 This was their attitude.
14:27 They used to say that we believe in what has been revealed to us.
14:30 "Wa yakfuruna bima waraa"
14:33 And whatever is other than this, we disbelieve in it.
14:37 So this has been found that if you believe in the Torah,
14:43 then the real condition for believing in it is to believe in the real book,
14:47 to believe in the Holy Quran.
14:50 If you believe in the Holy Quran, then it will be acceptable to believe in the Torah.
14:54 That is why Allah says,
14:56 "Wa huwal haqqu musaddiqal lima ma'um"
14:58 "Although it is the truth, the Holy Quran,
15:00 and it is the one that confirms the Torah."
15:02 If you say that I do not believe in it,
15:05 and I believe in the Torah,
15:07 then Allah has rejected it,
15:09 that then you do not believe in the Torah either.
15:12 So this is a chain of different things,
15:15 like the chain of prophets.
15:17 The rejection of one prophet will become the rejection of all prophets.
15:21 The rejection of one book will become the rejection of all books.
15:25 The rejection of one angel will become the rejection of all angels.
15:29 Allah has made this reality clear from the Jewish attitudes.
15:35 That is why Allah says that we believe in our book.
15:40 We do not believe in the book that was revealed to the Prophet.
15:44 Now Allah has said that
15:47 "Aau habt"
15:48 "This reality also makes it clear that you have believed in the Torah."
15:52 Allah has given those arguments that
15:55 these misguided people were not even believers in the Torah.
15:59 So Allah said,
16:00 "Qul eh nabi keh dijiye falima taqtuluna anbiya Allah"
16:05 "Oh, you believe in the Torah,
16:08 then why did you kill the prophets?"
16:11 The Jews present before the Prophet are being called the Jews.
16:15 Why are they being called the Jews?
16:17 Because their forefathers did this and they are satisfied with it.
16:21 They still talk about their lineage.
16:23 They still talk about their ancestors.
16:26 So Allah is asking them,
16:28 "Why did you kill the prophets?"
16:30 "Why are you standing with those who killed the prophets of Allah?"
16:34 This is written in the Torah.
16:36 That you have to kill Hazrat Zakariya,
16:38 you have to kill Hazrat Yahya.
16:40 Is this written in the Torah?
16:42 "In kuntum momineen"
16:44 "If you are believers"
16:46 "If you were believers in the Torah,
16:48 then why did you do this?"
16:50 So Allah has made it clear that
16:54 these people are not even believers in the Torah or the Quran.
16:58 And Allah has also reassured the Prophet that
17:00 if they deny you,
17:02 then listen to how they were believers in the Torah.
17:06 How they were believers in Prophet Moses.
17:08 How they were believers in the previous prophets.
17:11 Do not worry about this.
17:13 This is their nature.
17:15 They just claim one thing to take out time
17:19 and deny another.
17:21 This is their reality.
17:22 There is nothing to worry about.
17:24 So this was the commentary of these two verses
17:26 which was explained to you in this segment.
17:29 And we are going to a Waqf.
17:31 In the next segment,
17:33 we will be moving to the next verse.
17:36 I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
17:41 In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.

22:03 Welcome dear viewers.
22:05 Alhamdulillah, Qari Sahib has recited the Quran in a beautiful voice
22:10 in the recitation of Ayat 92 and 93.
22:13 First, we will move to its translation
22:15 and then we will move to its commentary.
22:17 Allah the Almighty said,
22:19 "And no doubt Moses brought you clear proofs.
22:23 Then you made the calf a god and you were cruel.
22:29 And when We took a solemn covenant from you
22:32 and lifted Mount Tor upon you,
22:35 and said, "Take firmly what We have given you and listen,"
22:40 they said, "We have listened and have not disobeyed."
22:44 Because of their disbelief,
22:47 a calf was placed in their hearts.
22:51 You say, "If you are going to believe in the Torah,
22:57 then what kind of evil is this
22:59 that your faith commands you?"
23:03 Dear viewers,
23:06 in the last segment,
23:08 we discussed the word "Baghiyan" in the Quran.
23:13 Because of their jealousy,
23:16 stubbornness and stubbornness,
23:18 they used to deny the Quran.
23:21 They used to claim that
23:25 they are believers in the Torah,
23:28 they are believers in their own book,
23:31 they are not believers in any other book.
23:34 So, Allah the Almighty denied them
23:37 with different arguments.
23:40 The first argument was,
23:42 "Why did you kill the prophets?"
23:45 "This is written in the Torah,
23:47 this is the teaching of the Torah,
23:49 which you claim to be believers in the Torah."
23:52 So, this was one of their objections.
23:54 Allah the Almighty stated more things in these verses.
23:58 In verse 92, Allah the Almighty states,
24:01 "And Moses came to you with clear signs."
24:07 These clear signs are mentioned in the Quran.
24:11 "And Moses came to us with nine clear signs."
24:14 The Quran says that
24:16 we gave Moses nine clear signs.
24:20 The hand of Baiza is also mentioned in this verse.
24:24 The staff of Moses is also mentioned in this verse.
24:27 The Israelites who fled from the Pharaoh,
24:30 Allah the Almighty saved them in the sea.
24:34 That is also mentioned in these signs.
24:37 Then, the Quran mentions that
24:40 they were punished with the punishment of frogs,
24:43 they were punished with the punishment of rats,
24:46 they were punished with the punishment of bats,
24:49 they were punished with the punishment of blood.
24:52 They have seen different things with their own eyes.
24:55 But, despite seeing everything,
24:57 what is their condition?
24:59 Moses brought a book,
25:02 he went to the heavens,
25:04 he went to the Mount of Olives,
25:06 and he went and obtained the Torah.
25:08 And he brought it.
25:09 So, what is their attitude now?
25:11 "And you took the calf as a slave,
25:13 and you were wrongdoers."
25:15 You made the calf a slave.
25:18 This is the biggest blot on their history.
25:23 When they were about to receive the book,
25:28 they were involved in Shirk again,
25:32 and made the calf their slave.
25:34 This is a very dark history for them.
25:37 In fact, the previous prophets,
25:39 who were their own prophets,
25:41 they also have some similar statements.
25:45 They said that these Israelites
25:48 are those who were disloyal on the first night.
25:52 This is a very big statement.
25:54 The same is stated in the Holy Quran.
25:56 The Quran has its own style and words.
26:01 But, the point is that
26:03 Moses was given the Torah,
26:05 and he was about to receive it,
26:07 and he was worshipping the calf.
26:09 What is more disloyal than this?
26:12 On the first night,
26:14 he was about to receive the book,
26:16 and he was doing the same.
26:19 A new believer, a new Muslim,
26:22 receives a new blessing,
26:25 and he is not given happiness.
26:28 He is not given the emotions of gratitude.
26:30 Even on the first night,
26:32 he was busy worshipping the calf.
26:35 He came out of the sea,
26:37 and he was worshipping the calf.
26:39 Allah said,
26:40 "And you were wrongdoers."
26:45 Allah said,
26:48 "O you who claim that we are believers of the Torah,
26:52 why should we believe in the Quran?
26:55 Why did you kill the prophets?"
26:57 And the second argument is,
26:59 "Why did you worship the calf?"
27:02 "Why did you worship the calf?
27:04 You are the same.
27:05 This is your origin.
27:07 This is your foundation.
27:10 You are following their path."
27:12 The Jews of that time were being called.
27:14 "You are doing oppression."
27:15 They too did oppression.
27:17 The Quran interprets Shirk as oppression.
27:20 "Indeed, Shirk is a great oppression."
27:22 There is no greater oppression than this.
27:25 Not giving someone's right to someone else is oppression.
27:28 And how great is it that
27:30 the person gives the right of the Lord to someone else.
27:37 And to whom?
27:38 To the calf.
27:40 How great is this oppression.
27:42 There is no greater oppression of man
27:45 than giving the right of Allah to someone else.
27:48 The right of his worship,
27:50 the right of his servitude,
27:51 the right of his servitude.
27:52 He gives it to someone else.
27:54 So in verse 92, Allah has rejected
27:59 that claim that
28:02 "We are believers of the Torah,
28:05 we are followers of the Torah."
28:07 Allah said, "You are worshippers of the calf
28:10 when you were to receive the Torah,
28:12 you are not followers of the Torah."
28:15 Then after that, Allah said in verse 93,
28:18 "And if they take you from Jesus and raise you,
28:20 then you will be rejected."
28:22 When we were making a covenant with you,
28:27 that you have to believe in the Torah,
28:29 you have to follow the Torah,
28:31 do you remember that time?
28:34 Do you remember that date?
28:36 "We raised the Mount over you."
28:41 You were followers of the Torah
28:45 that the Mount was raised over you
28:48 to make you believe in the Torah.
28:50 So what were you followers of?
28:52 This was forced.
28:54 You were brought to this path of guidance
28:58 in this way.
29:00 This was Allah's grace upon you.
29:03 This was Allah's blessing upon you.
29:05 He wants you to follow this path.
29:10 Which path is the path of Allah's blessings
29:14 that was not revealed to you?
29:16 Which is the place where you were deprived of blessings?
29:20 Allah wanted your well-being at every place.
29:24 This happened through the intercession of the prophets.
29:28 You were followers of Moses.
29:31 This was his blessing.
29:33 This was Allah's blessing upon you.
29:36 "We raised the Mount over you."
29:45 That you have to believe in the Torah.
29:47 You were followers of the Torah.
29:49 "And we have given you power and hearing."
29:52 And hold on to what we have given you with power
29:56 and listen.
29:58 Listen to the Prophet.
30:00 Listen to the Torah.
30:02 "And we have given you power and hearing."
30:04 Meaning, you have been given the power to listen and to accept.
30:07 "And we have given you power and hearing."
30:10 Even if this evil person came to Moses,
30:14 he would have said, "We have heard."
30:17 You told us to listen, so we have listened.
30:20 But we do not believe.
30:23 He would say to Moses,
30:25 "Those who are saying to the Prophet,
30:27 that they are denying the Quran,
30:29 that they are denying the Prophet,
30:31 because we are followers of the Torah."
30:33 Allah says, "They used to say to Moses,
30:35 'We have heard' and 'We have denied'."
30:41 "And there were many who would turn their tongues
30:44 and say, 'We have heard' and 'We have denied'."
30:49 The listener would think that he said, "We have heard."
30:52 But by turning their tongues,
30:54 they meant, "We have denied."
30:57 If they had said, "We have heard,"
30:59 they would have said, "We have denied."
31:01 By turning their tongues.
31:03 So, are you going to accept the Torah?
31:06 See, Allah says, "The Jews of that time,
31:09 who are in the era of the Prophet,
31:12 are the mercy of my Lord,
31:14 the grace of my Lord,
31:16 the grace of my Lord,
31:18 and the link of His guidance,
31:20 that my Lord completes His proof on everyone."
31:25 Allah has told them so openly,
31:27 what they used to do,
31:29 what they used to do,
31:31 even today Allah is inviting them,
31:34 that my Prophet has come,
31:36 the light of my Prophet will spread everywhere.
31:40 Be with this light, you will shine.
31:43 Not one, but two rewards for you.
31:46 The Quran has said, "Kiflain" to the Jews and Christians.
31:49 I will give you two rewards,
31:51 "Ummat-e-Mustafa" to you,
31:53 one is that you have accepted the one
31:55 you were before,
31:57 and now you are the one,
31:59 you have accepted this one too,
32:01 this is a big thing, accept it.
32:03 So, there can be no more clarification than this,
32:07 and this is the system of my Lord,
32:09 that He completes His guidance.
32:12 He has given religion to His Prophet,
32:15 "Al yawma aqmaltu lakum deenakum,
32:17 wa atmamtu alaykum ni'mati"
32:19 He has completed it.
32:21 And after completing it,
32:23 He said that you used to say this before,
32:26 even today when the Jews come to the Prophet,
32:29 they say, "Sami'na wa aswaina"
32:32 they say "at'ana" with a tongue twisted,
32:34 to the Prophet.
32:36 And they make fun of Allah,
32:38 the Prophet of the end of times.
32:40 So, this is the same attitude with Moses,
32:43 the Prophet himself,
32:45 Allah has told them,
32:47 "Natum quran ke manne wale,
32:49 natu raat ke manne wale"
32:51 And then Allah said,
32:53 "Wa ushribu fee quloobihimul 'ijla bi kufrihim"
32:56 "Their love for the calf was given to them
32:58 because of their disbelief"
33:00 This disbelief,
33:02 like a person drinks the juice of something,
33:06 they have drunk the juice of disbelief,
33:09 it has been given to them,
33:11 when a person is immersed in an unlawful love,
33:15 then a point comes where
33:18 it is said that
33:20 he has drunk the juice of disbelief.
33:23 They were the followers of disbelief,
33:25 they were the drinkers of disbelief,
33:27 they were the drinkers of disbelief,
33:29 Allah said,
33:30 "They have reached a point
33:32 where they cannot turn back"
33:34 This is their condition.
33:35 "Qul b'isama ya'murukum bihi imanukum"
33:38 "This is a beautiful sentence for us too"
33:41 Allah says,
33:42 "How bad is it that your faith commands you"
33:47 "At least check your level of faith"
33:50 "What is your faith?"
33:52 "Are you saying that we are believers?"
33:54 "So is your faith telling you to worship the calf?"
33:57 "At least check your faith"
33:59 "To what degree are you a believer?"
34:02 "You are killing the prophets"
34:05 "To what degree are you a believer?"
34:07 "What is your faith ordering you?"
34:09 This is a very historical and powerful sentence.
34:13 For us too.
34:14 Today, we see,
34:16 is our faith ordering us to leave Salah?
34:20 At what level are we standing?
34:22 We should leave fasting,
34:24 we should leave worshiping.
34:26 There are so many Muslims,
34:28 they have left everything.
34:30 They don't even follow the religion.
34:32 So is this faith ordering us?
34:34 The standard of faith is set by the Quran.
34:36 "At least check your faith"
34:37 "At what degree is your faith ordering you?"
34:40 Every person should see this.
34:42 Allama Ghulam Rasool Sayyidi
34:44 has said a very important sentence here.
34:46 He says,
34:48 "The Jews were cursed by God"
34:50 "They were humiliated"
34:52 "O Muslims of the world, think about it"
34:55 "Today you are defeated by the Jews"
34:59 "So you are defeated by those who are cursed"
35:04 "So what is your level?"
35:07 Every believer should think about this.
35:09 So this is why,
35:11 it is a call for action.
35:13 It is a call for thought.
35:15 The explanation of these verses is complete.
35:17 I pray to Allah,
35:19 that he gives us the ability to act,
35:21 the understanding of the Quran,
35:22 and grant us to act on the Quran.
35:24 Today's program is complete.
35:26 With a new program,
35:28 we will be back again.
35:31 We have no choice but to convey the clear message.
35:34 Alif Lam Mim
35:43 That is the Book, in which there is no doubt.
35:48 A guidance for the righteous.
35:53 Alif Lam Mim
35:55 There is no doubt that this is the Book of Allah.
