00:02 Here is our update on the continuously monitored typhoon Goring,

00:07 which has an international name, Saula.

00:09 It was part of the super typhoon category last night,

00:15 and now it is again in the typhoon category.

00:18 This typhoon Goring was part of it.

00:22 And as of 3 a.m., we were able to see the eyes of the typhoon Goring

00:28 which is 210 kilometers away from the city of Casiguran, Aurora.

00:32 We were able to use our radar in Baler and Daet

00:36 to see the center of the eyes of the typhoon Goring.

00:40 The strongest wind was only reaching 175 kilometers per hour.

00:46 The typhoon was weakening from 185 last night

00:49 and it was now increasing to 215 kilometers per hour.

00:53 It is now starting to change direction.

00:55 It is now moving from east to southeast at 15 kilometers per hour.

01:00 We expect that it will start moving northward today.

01:06 Meanwhile, we are still being monitored by the tropical depression

01:10 which we were able to see last night, which is more than 2,000 kilometers east-northeast of Eastern Visayas.

01:16 There is a high chance that this typhoon or tropical depression

01:21 is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

05:00 Polilio Islands, Northern Eastern portion of Camarines Norte,

05:03 along with Calaguas Island, Northeastern portion of Camarines Sur, and Northern portion of Catanduanes.

05:09 Because of the increase in the diameter of the typhoon,

05:12 the northern part of Bicol Region has reached its peak.

05:16 So, we expect that the typhoon will reach the northern part of Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.

05:23 Although, the typhoon will be moving away from us.

05:26 Because it will be moving to the north from today.

05:29 And as for the rain, we expect that it will be raining in the northeastern part of Mainland Cagayan,

05:37 along with the typhoon Sigoring.

05:39 Tomorrow, there will be additional places where there will be a chance of rain,

05:43 particularly in Batanes, Baboyan Islands, Northern portion of Mainland Cagayan, Apayao, and Ilocos Norte.

05:50 Meanwhile, when it comes to Wednesday,

05:52 this is the day when the typhoon Sigoring is the closest to Batanes.

05:57 It will be raining heavily in Batanes, Baboyan Islands, and also in the parts of Cagayan, Apayao, and Ilocos Norte.

06:07 Meanwhile, due to the strong winds, it will be raining in Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro.

06:15 Actually, we have already raised heavy rainfall warnings, particularly in the areas of Zambales in the past few hours.

06:22 That is due to the strong rains that we have monitored.

06:25 It will also be raining in Cavite, Batangas, Silagang Bahagi in Palawan, and Antique.

07:20 Especially, we are expecting that the rains will continue, particularly in the northern part of Luzon and Cavite.

07:27 That is why, we should always be prepared to be safe from any dangers that may be caused by heavy rains.

07:39 Although, there is no Tropical Second Wind Signal, it is an effect of the long-term winds.

07:44 That is why, we are expecting some winds, particularly in some parts of Central Luzon, in Aurora, Bataan,

07:49 in Manila, Calabarzon, Maropa, Bicol Region, Visayas, Dinagat Island, Camiguin, and a large portion of Zamboanga Peninsula.

07:58 This is a western section of Mindanao.

08:00 That is why, we are still expecting some winds, especially in the northern part of Luzon,

08:05 that may be caused by a strong storm.

08:08 When it comes to Wednesday, the storm will intensify the northern winds.

08:12 Meanwhile, these are the areas where our Gale Warning is high.

08:16 We have a high Gale Warning in Batanes, Cagayan, along with Babuyan and Calayan,

08:21 as well as in the northern part of Ilocos Norte.

08:24 Along with Aurora, Quezon, Palawan, Romblon, Marinduque, Occidental and Oriental Mindoro,

08:30 Southern Coast of Batangas, Northern and Eastern Coast of Catanduanes,

08:34 Masbate, along with Buryas Island, Antique, Aklan, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental.

08:41 In these parts of our country, we expect the sea to be unstable,

08:46 so it is dangerous to sail small sea vessels and small boats.

08:51 It is also possible to cancel the trips of our sea vessels,

08:55 so we should be careful and coordinate, especially in the coasts where we usually sail sea vessels,

09:04 because it is possible to cancel this if we have a high Gale Warning.
