00:00 Good morning. Today we're in the port of Grenoble, about on the northeastern coast of the Danish
00:07 peninsula of Jutland. Today we're going to go and visit the Anholt offshore wind farm.
00:11 It's about 25 kilometres offshore from here, and so let's see what you can see.
00:18 Now we're looking in the direction of the wind farm. You can't really see it in the
00:24 camera, but to the naked eye you can just make out the wind turbines in the distance.
00:30 It's a somewhat overcast day today, and for scale, you can see my finger coming up here
00:37 onto the screen now, the height of the wind turbines is about the distance between the
00:44 top of my fingernail and the top of my finger.
00:50 Right now we can see the Anholt offshore wind farm. It's about 10 kilometres from where
00:56 we are to the wind turbine that's the furthest away on the right hand side. While I look
01:02 small in the video, to the naked eye it appears to be about the size of my smallest fingernail
01:10 in height.
01:11 For those wondering about the noise, you can't actually hear the wind turbines much at all
01:18 when you're up close. The main amount of noise is coming from the ship that we're on, and
01:23 the diesel engines that are powering it.
