Blended learning, ipinatutupad sa Batasan NHS dahil sa kakulangan ng classroom
Transcript
00:00 Blended Learning is still being implemented in Batasan Hills National High School
00:05 due to the lack of classrooms.
00:07 While in Corre Aquino Elementary School,
00:09 it was noticed that there are no decorations in their classrooms.
00:13 Joshua Garcia in the detail.
00:16 Rise and shine, Joshua.
00:17 18,000 students were admitted to Batasan Hills National High School on the first day of the school year.
00:26 The school has the largest population in Quezon City and has 400 students.
00:32 So, aside from the shifting schedule of classes,
00:34 Blended Learning is still being implemented.
00:36 As of August 24, our data is 18,302.
00:42 So, this is higher than 400 last year because we had 17,900 students.
00:50 Aside from that, we have Blended Learning where students are in school for three days and at home for two days.
00:56 The school has prepared the entrance, but the lack of classrooms is still a problem.
01:01 First, we had a school brigade, then we had an orientation, and we also had a simulation.
01:08 The same is also the case with the local government. We also had an education summit.
01:13 So, basically, we are ready for day one onwards.
01:17 Since the lack of rooms, we immediately made two shifts.
01:22 We have one for the morning and one for the afternoon.
01:24 The Batasan Hills National High School has 300 classrooms,
01:27 but it still needs to add more than 50 classrooms to meet the number of students.
01:32 In Korea Hill Elementary School,
01:34 you will notice that the classrooms are not decorated with the flowers that some students like.
01:39 They are more focused on the lesson.
01:41 It's cleaner.
01:43 Why?
01:44 Because sometimes it can be distracting because there are a lot of things that need to be put.
01:52 Class decors are more attractive to some students,
01:55 but for some teachers, it's cleaner to look at the classrooms without decorations.
01:59 Teachers are also saving if sometimes they are also spending on decorations.
02:03 Yes, practically speaking, we can save money.
02:06 And the effort is not long to fix the classroom. It's simple.
02:12 The QC School Division Office sent an additional 500 teachers to help the Batasan Hills National High School.
02:18 Aside from the uniformed personnel of the Batasan Hills LGU,
02:21 the police are also on duty to ensure security and to fix the surrounding buildings in Quezon City.
02:27 Joshua Garcia for the morning show of the country, Rise and Shine, Philippines.
