00:00 As a leader, you must not be afraid to exercise independent thinking
00:06 and not be afraid to stand alone for what is right.
00:13 Throughout my life, I have had to stand alone through many difficult times.
00:20 When many investors lost their savings by investing in bad financial products in the past,
00:28 I was not afraid to stand up on their behalf to ask questions.
00:34 It takes courage, tenacity and resilience to ask these difficult questions
00:42 and make people accountable for their actions.
00:47 As an active and outgoing person,
00:51 I like to share about my daily activities and observations of everyday life.
00:59 I have never meant any disrespect to the people I encounter.
01:06 To all those who have found any of what I have said or done in the past upsetting or inappropriate,
01:16 I would like to sincerely apologise for it.
01:22 I will be more mindful of what I say in the future.
01:26 If I am elected as President, I will act independently of the government
01:33 and do my best to convey the views of the people to the government
01:40 and help the government to find out ways to make life better for the people.
01:47 I am aware that the President does not have the executive authority on these matters.
01:55 However, I believe it is possible to achieve these goals
02:00 by using the soft influence and prestige of the President's Office.
