00:08 Emergency services were seen in Lansing on the evening of Wednesday, August 30th, after

00:13 a body was found on the beach.

00:15 A Sussex Police spokesperson said police responded to a report of a body found on Lansing Beach

00:20 at around 5.58pm.

00:22 Police said that despite the best efforts of members of the public and paramedics who

00:26 commenced CPR, the man was sadly declared deceased.

00:30 His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers

00:33 at this time.

00:35 Police said that there are no suspicious circumstances.

00:39 A warehouse in Burgess Hill is being demolished today after a major fire broke out earlier

00:44 this summer.

00:45 West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called on Monday, June 19th at 2.58pm to reports

00:50 of a fire on Consort Way.

00:52 No injuries were reported, but 10 fire engines were on the scene to control the blaze at

00:56 a warehouse belonging to a Hair and Beauty business.

00:59 Shortly after the blaze broke out, Capital Hair and Beauty said the site had suffered

01:03 significant structural damage.

01:05 Organisers of Crawley Pride 2023 have hailed the event as a huge success with high attendance
