How does Leeds United's squad shape up at the end of a hectic transfer window?
Transcript
00:00 Jad Spence and Luke Eiling as a pair makes good sense.
00:05 Rodon looks so far to be pretty solid.
00:10 He might need to pick and choose his times to step in and dribble a little more carefully.
00:16 But other than that, he's not done a great deal wrong.
00:19 You've got Struyck and Cooper.
00:22 You've got Creswell backing up Rodon.
00:24 Left back is probably still where our concern is.
00:27 But if those two stayed fit, probably fine.
00:30 The centre mid, with those four, it would look sensible, solid.
00:35 10 is probably where I'd still like a Magic man.
00:38 We've talked about that a lot.
00:40 And then the wing options are some of the best in the Championship.
00:42 And Pirro, Bamford, Routier and Matteo Joseph.
00:48 And that's pretty good, isn't it?
00:49 That's got goals in it.
00:51 It's got link-up play and hold-up play in it.
00:53 You've got a target man in Bamford.
00:56 And as I wrote this week, Bamford can probably, because of the recruitment they've done,
01:01 because of bringing in Pirro, Bamford can probably be seen as a luxury player now.
01:05 And it takes the pressure off him and allows him to...
01:09 [coughs]
01:11 You can make a note there.
01:13 Bless you.
01:14 Cut that out.
01:16 It allows Bamford to come back, get into really good shape,
01:19 instead of being rushed or rushing himself back because Leeds needed him so badly.
01:24 And he can be drip-fed back in, get himself match fit,
01:29 and then he can really try and put pressure on Pirro and show that he is still the man at Leeds.
01:34 I think it's a fantastic situation to be in.
01:37 So, so far, so good.
01:41 If you're being picky, you'd still want a left-back.
01:43 You'd still want a 10.
01:45 And of course, there's the variables that we need to talk about as well.
