00:00 Around a year ago to the date, I had decided to get some dental work done.
00:04 I didn't like the way my top teeth looked so I had decided to go for composite bonding
00:09 veneers.
00:10 So they build you a tooth on top of your natural tooth and I loved them, I was so happy with
00:15 them.
00:16 But two weeks after that was when I first started to get the redness under my eyes and
00:20 I also had really really dry lips.
00:21 But I would have never tied the two together, I thought it was just a new product that I
00:25 was potentially using.
00:26 It was only when it started spreading around my body and it wasn't getting any better with
00:30 anything I was trying apart from steroid cream, but I didn't want to use that in the long
00:33 run, did I look at the timelines and think, okay could this be something to do with what
00:39 I've just had done to my teeth.
00:41 I went back to the dentist and she said it's extremely rare that you would be this allergic
00:46 to, well you would be allergic at all, never mind this allergic to what I've just put in
00:51 your mouth.
00:52 It's a worldwide thing that people get and there's not many recorded allergies for it.
00:55 It was at the point where I was desperate, even if removing them didn't help it, at least
01:00 I can say I tried.
01:01 About a month later, things started clearing up around my face and I think I was allergic
01:07 to that, just because of how quickly it's cleared up.
01:11 I had it in for a long time so it's a systemic reaction I was having so it's still working
01:15 its way out my system.
01:16 I do still have some body eczema but just not as bad, really not as bad as what I've
01:20 had before.
01:21 But at least now I can put products back on my face that I used to use before my eczema,
01:26 I can put makeup on my face.
