00:00 Hello, thanks for watching. I'm Jack with London World here at King's Cross where there
00:04 is a spellbinding atmosphere. Yes, that's right, thousands of Harry Potter fans have
00:09 come to Platform 9 3/4 for Back to Hogwarts Day. I caught up with a few fans to tell me
00:15 just how excited they really were.
00:17 Yeah, so we came from Kent. I work in London anyway so I'd heard about the event. We went
00:23 to see the theatre show a few weeks ago and loved it. So, good excuse to get out our costumes
00:29 again and come and be a part of this. And when London is having a good event and everyone's
00:33 chatty and amazing and wonderful, it's like the best place to be and everyone here is
00:37 just having the best time. So, it's been awesome.
00:41 Seeing the engagement of all the other fans, people just loving the event, dressing up,
00:46 they're all into looking the part and just all having this common vibe of happiness.
00:51 Yeah, what a community.
00:53 My name is Esther. I watched the first film in cinema when I was four years old. I got
00:59 PTSD for a long time. But I love Harry Potter now and yeah, that's it. We're all fans. It's
01:07 a great moment.
01:10 So the event is not just about reliving the magic but also the Potter family, the fandom,
01:17 the number of people that are here. I feel so warm and such a sense of belonging here
01:24 that it's absolutely magical.
