Paul Heckingbottom's verdict on Sheffield United's draw with Everton at Bramall Lane
Transcript
00:00 Yeah, big save and then the follow-up. Probably when it hit his head and then it
00:05 falls. There are the moments when we know we need him to go for us this season. Today he didn't so
00:08 yeah we only came away with a point but I think it was a fair result. It was a game I enjoyed to
00:14 watch. Yeah, so I think it was a fair result but it would have been really nice to come away with three.
00:20 Some of the positives were the combination play between your new attacking
00:23 Trident of Gustavo, Arma, Cameron Archer and Oli McBurnie and Cameron Archer in
00:29 particular inspiring two goals for you. Yeah, we were disappointed to go behind to a set
00:34 play but we knew that was a big threat and then the size of the players, the delivery.
00:39 But we fought our way back in the game and the first goal in particular, I think every play in the
00:44 pitch was such a ball for us. We had a real degree of control and then worked the ball
00:48 into an area where we speak about those connections you're talking about and it
00:52 was a front two. Yeah, so a really really good goal from us and the second one was
00:57 the bravery of Gust to risk possession to try and create a chance and then it was all about
01:01 Cam. So yeah, we thought we deservedly got ourselves in front then and then the
01:06 start of the second half is the bit that really where we lost our way for ten
01:09 minutes or so. Yeah, again that shows the standard of the Premier League. We were off it for about ten minutes and one day draw level and then again could have gone the other way.
