01:05 That is why the DepEd continues to work with the GSIS to help the teachers in their loans.
01:11 The DepEd is also working on hiring more than 3,000 administrative officers and 1,500 planning development officers
01:19 to reduce the administrative work of teaching personnel and to focus on their teaching.
01:26 The DepEd also consulted the Civil Service Commission to increase the higher teaching overload pay for teachers.

02:20 The TDC also insisted that perennial problems like the lack of classrooms and teachers should be solved.

02:41 The DepEd is one of the teachers and they say that the problems they face are being addressed.
02:46 The National Teachers' Month continues until October 5 with the implementation of Proclamation No. 242 in 2011.
