01:05 After first revealing in April that she's been using Ozempic, Dolores Catania shared
01:11 an update on her weight loss journey in July.

01:25 The 52-year-old explained that she first began taking Ozempic several years ago on the advice
01:31 of her doctor, saying, quote, "I was medically prescribed for both because I am insulin resistance
01:39 pre-diabetic and have a thyroid issue."
01:42 However, the reality star reminded fans that weight doesn't come off easy, adding, "I
01:49 work out regularly.
01:50 There is no easy fix for weight loss, and I have to watch what I eat."

05:21 Having battled an eating disorder most of her life, Krystal Kung-Minkoff got candid
05:25 about why she's never considered using the drug.
05:29 The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told Page Six in April 2023, quote, "It's
05:36 not a good place for me, personally, for my recovery.
05:40 I've never judged or looked down on anyone that finds different avenues for weight loss.
05:45 I would be lying if I said I haven't thought about it, and then I have to check myself
05:50 if that's right for my recovery.
05:53 And I'm in a very specific situation."
05:57 According to NBC News, Ozempic and its sister drug, Wagovi, are, quote, "the same drug,
06:03 semaglutide, but come in different doses.
06:06 They work as appetite suppressants and help control blood sugar levels by prompting the
06:11 body to release insulin."
06:13 Wagovi is approved as a weight loss drug for adults who have obesity.
