00:00 I had my surfboard under my arm, my wetsuit was up to my waist and I was walking down
00:08 ready to go and I saw that bunch of surfers all coming in.
00:12 At that point I've thrown my board and began sprinting down the beach to the water's edge.
00:18 It just was like, alright, priorities would be to control the bleeding, get help to come
00:23 and do whatever we can to help Toby.
00:25 Luckily enough a colleague of mine had also come in, already taken his leg rope off to
00:29 meet Toby at the water's edge and I asked another surfer to then grab another one to
00:33 place it on the other leg.
00:34 The woman who actually passed me on the beach and told me the shark attack was in the process
00:38 of calling emergency services.
00:39 It's not lost on me how serendipitous this thing is, like I could have not been here
00:43 to help, Jacob could have not been here to help.
00:45 It's just so surreal.
00:46 I'm so grateful.
00:47 I'm so grateful.
00:48 I'm so grateful.
