300 Women In Yoga Pants Protest Hateful Op-ed

One man wrote a letter to the editor about hating yoga pants, so 300 women showed up wearing them!

00:03 One man from Rhode Island wrote a letter to the editor of his hometown newspaper,

00:13 The Barrington Times. In the letter, he was complaining about women wearing

00:17 yoga pants. I wish I was wearing yoga pants today.

00:20 Alan Sorrentino writes that yoga pants do nothing to complement a woman over

00:24 20 years old, and that they're often worn by people coping poorly with their

00:29 weight or advancing age. Sorrentino also made the mistake of ending the letter

00:34 with his full name and address. In response, 300 women organized a yoga

00:38 pants parade and protested. Protested? Protested across the street from

00:43 Sorrentino's house. By all accounts, the protest was peaceful and involved women

00:47 of all ages, men, and even children. Yet still, Sorrentino claims that he got

00:51 death threats from protesters who are criminals. Barrington, Rhode Island is a

00:57 town with 16,000 people in it, so everyone's involved in this conversation.

01:31 the parade that marched past this man's house, I would like to say women should

01:34 not be naked in public. Please ladies, it's inappropriate. Whatever you do, don't
