00:00 Alexandria Nicole is a YouTuber who does natural hair tutorials. A fan recently
00:04 reached out to her to let her know the company that sells wigs was using one of
00:07 her Instagram photos. They claimed that a photo of Alexandria's real hair was their
00:11 short afro curly synthetic wig. And she says that she knows other women the
00:15 website is using to sell products as well. She immediately reached out and
00:19 told them to take down the picture and they did this. Yes, they crudely
00:23 photoshopped someone else's face onto Alexandria's picture. People seem to
00:27 agree that Dresslily is in the wrong for not taking the picture down. But on the
00:32 other hand, everyone also agrees that it's kind of hilarious.
00:36 Jessica J comments, "OMG people have no chill and it looks so bad too lol." The
00:40 Fire Next Time says, "It's f*cked up but I just screamed LMAO." As an FYI, when you
00:46 do post on Instagram, it's actually in the public domain so anyone can use your
00:50 photo in any way they want. And if they use your likeness in any sort of
00:53 defamatory way, yes, that is illegal. Is it illegal to post a picture and then not
00:59 take it down? No, but it is morally wrong. For more trends and stories like these,
