00:00 his hand in terms of his offense.
00:02 You sit on some stuff that you're excited about seeing come around this season?
00:05 >> Yeah, I love Dave and his energy.
00:07 I love the whole coaching staff.
00:08 I'm excited to see what we can do.
00:10 Come Sunday at a great stadium, Minnesota has an unbelievable stadium, and
00:14 a really good team from last year.
00:15 I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do against those guys and
00:18 measure what we'll be for the rest of the season.
00:19 >> What is Baker showing you?
00:20 >> A lot of energy, a lot of moxie, great ball placement, and super competitive.
00:26 So I love that about him.
00:27 >> What frustrates you that you couldn't have done?
00:30 How long has that been going on?
00:31 Because you're a guy, when you're out on the field, you don't show it.
00:36 >> Frustrated as far as what?
00:37 >> As far as the contract.
00:39 >> Yeah, like I said, I'm done talking about contracts.
00:42 >> Mike, obviously you guys aren't on the field at the same time.
00:44 It doesn't deference to your favorite team league.
00:47 >> Yeah. >> How does it feel?
00:48 >> Just on the top.
00:48 >> How does it motivate you going against a guy like that in a game you're supposed to-
00:52 >> Yeah, I'm always self motivated and
00:55 just motivated, period.
00:56 But obviously, one of the best receivers, I know he's only played three years, but
01:00 he's one of the best ever played already.
01:01 And it's cool to watch him grow each year.
01:04 Hopefully we can contain him, and that'll help our chances a lot to win.
01:08 >> Mike, people marvel at your consistency, 1,000 yards every single year.
01:11 What have you done in these last couple years when you get to year 10, 11,
01:15 that kind of thing, to make sure that you're still the same as you were?
01:19 >> Each offseason, I work on things that I feel I need to be better at.
01:23 And that's always conditioning, you can always be in better condition.
01:26 And just take care of my body.
01:27 I've learned that throughout the years.
01:29 Eating right and taking care of my body, and I feel better now than I ever have.
01:32 >> Mike, because there's a new offense this season, new quarterback,
01:35 does it almost feel like the reset button has been hit?
01:38 How much are you looking forward to it?
01:39 Kind of like putting this offense on display,
01:41 because we've talked about it a lot, and now we're finally seeing it.
01:44 >> Yeah, I mean, it's cool.
01:45 This is my fourth or fifth offensive coordinator.
01:48 So this is nothing new to me.
01:51 I love what Dave's doing.
01:52 I love our offense.
01:53 I love the way we competed during camp and preseason.
01:55 And I'm excited.
01:56 >> Mike, what did you see from Chris Godwin also throughout this training camp
02:00 going into preseason?
02:01 >> Chris Godwin is one of the best receivers in this game for a reason.
02:04 He works extremely hard, one of the hardest workers I've ever been around.
02:07 Look forward to him having a really great season.
02:09 >> What's the best part about the Sheriff's on the big?
02:14 >> He just doesn't care.
02:15 When he makes a bad play, he comes back super positive, ready to go.
02:19 He doesn't let anything get to him.
02:20 And he's always positive.
02:22 >> How much does that help you?
02:25 Because I know that when you were younger,
02:27 you were talking about how to make a bad play that could snowball for you a little
02:31 bit, so to build a leader that is able to come to the page.
02:33 >> It's cool to have a guy that won't give up on you.
02:35 And he's a quarterback, so he's gonna have a ball a lot.
02:37 So if you drop a pass, if you run the wrong route or something,
02:41 he still believes in you and trusts you.
02:42 So it's good to have that trust in a quarterback.
