What is the most dangerous and deadly animal in Africa? Believe it or not, the most dangerous animal in Africa isn’t actually an apex predator like the Lion, Nile Crocodile, or even the Hyena. It isn’t an herbivore such as the Rhino or Elephant. It is actually an omnivore, the Hippo. The Hippopotamus is a very aggressive and territorial animal that kills the most people in Africa, besides the Mosquito and other disease carrying insects/bugs.
