00:00 - We asked Coach Lombardi about his role on game day.
00:03 So is he just kind of the voice in your head?
00:04 You're the eyes.
00:05 - Yeah, we've done a lot together.
00:07 I can't think of how many years, but quite a bit,
00:09 you know, down in distance, defenses up, you know,
00:13 I'll get on, you know,
00:14 what are the runs we want to get to boys?
00:16 What are the passes?
00:16 We'll talk about it, make some marks on the call sheet.
00:20 Same thing we do at halftime.
00:21 It's kind of ongoing, you know,
00:25 halftime's really eight minutes, right?
00:28 Take a pee, and we'll quick go through a few things.
00:32 And then, and so it's like a,
00:36 throughout the game discussion, if you will,
00:39 where you're going through what's looking good,
00:43 come back to this, it should be a better play.
00:45 We didn't do this right.
00:46 You know, that kind of thing.
00:46 - After every play or after series?
00:49 - After series.
00:50 It's quiet during the series.
00:52 - You talked about situational stuff
00:53 kind of throughout camp.
00:54 So there were, I think 43 was the number you came up with.
00:56 How good do you feel about having covered as many of those?
00:59 - We'll hit seven more tomorrow.
01:01 Yeah, I think the challenge sometimes with the situations
01:08 pertains to your personnel as it fluctuates.
01:12 And so that's why we try to talk to the team.
01:17 You know, you can't rep every tight end or every half,
01:21 you know, and so as the roster fluctuates
01:24 throughout the season, making sure that maybe the players
01:28 that are new understand the situation
01:31 if they didn't get a rep in it during training camp.
01:33 So we'll review it on Saturdays.
