00:03 there will be a stunning secret engagement.
00:07 An engagement that could bring a happy ending for a couple
00:10 or cause an uproar with a scandal.
00:13 So which couple will it be and who will propose?
00:17 Let's consider the possibilities.
00:19 First of all, Eric and Donna or Katie and Carter
00:21 are possibilities,
00:22 but that probably wouldn't create much drama.
00:25 But there are some couples
00:26 that would certainly create that uproar.
00:28 Plenty of the characters are against Hope and Thomas
00:31 being together and Hope is very aware of that.
00:34 Although Hope and Thomas raised Douglas together
00:36 in many ways, they're already a family unit in that sense.
00:39 They just need to make it official.
00:41 Hope's marriage to Liam is all but over, so why not?
00:44 Hope told Thomas though, that she's not in love with him,
00:47 but that could always change.
00:49 And if Thomas were to propose,
00:51 Hope might consider it for Douglas's benefit.
00:54 Spoilers say Douglas will have an impact
00:56 on Hope and Thomas this fall, so we'll see.
00:59 But Brooke would very much be opposed
01:01 to Hope and Thomas being together.
01:03 So if Hope and Thomas do get engaged,
01:05 that would definitely create a stir.
01:08 Another couple though, that would really create a scandal
01:10 if they were to become engaged would be Deacon and Sheila.
01:13 Deacon knows he would be giving up a lot
01:15 if Hope and Brooke found out
01:17 about his relationship with Sheila.
01:19 But Deacon might not be able to help himself
01:21 and if Sheila schemes to make it happen,
01:23 Deacon might get swept up.
01:26 And for Sheila, being married could show Deacon's family
01:28 and Finns too, that Sheila is to be taken seriously
01:31 as Deacon's wife.
01:33 Deacon though could stand to lose a lot,
01:35 including his relationship with Hope
01:37 and who knows, maybe his restaurant.
01:39 Would Deacon be willing to give all that up?
01:41 If Deacon and Sheila are the ones who get engaged though,
01:44 that would certainly create a scandal, no doubt about it.
01:47 Another idea though, is that it could be RJ and Luna,
01:50 if Luna needs to be married to help her out of a jam.
01:54 Maybe she's in distress and needs RJ's help
01:56 and RJ decides to marry her to protect her.
01:59 There's a lot of mysteries surrounding Luna
02:01 and we don't know much at all about her,
02:03 other than someone wants her to stay away
02:05 from the Forresters.
02:07 So which couple do you think it will be
02:09 for this mystery engagement?
02:11 Will we be looking at a big wedding later this fall too?
