2021 performance-based bonus ng mga guro sa mga pampublikong paaralan, matatanggap
Transcript
00:00 Meanwhile, it's National Teachers Month.
00:03 Our countrymen received good news from the public schools.
00:08 This is the arrival of their long-awaited 2021 performance-based bonus.
00:14 The Central News from Karen Villanta.
00:17 From San Jose, Del Monte, Bulacan, Teacher Leonora is traveling daily to Quezon City
00:25 wherever the school she's going to enroll in.
00:28 When she arrives, she will have 40 students in grade 2.
00:33 She's having a hard time getting by, but she's always working hard.
00:38 That's why she's been in the service for 30 years.
00:41 And they're about to receive the performance-based bonus
00:45 that they've been waiting for, which is Teacher Leonora's life.
00:49 To be honest, we're committed to our teaching, our devotion to teaching.
00:54 But sometimes, it's just a freebie for us.
00:58 And we're happy that we're receiving something like this.
01:01 Of course, this will add to our morale boost.
01:06 Because with the efforts that you have exerted,
01:12 at least there's something in such a way that you can give to us.
01:15 The Department of Budget and Management announced
01:18 that P11.6 billion has been allocated
01:21 to the school-based personnel for the performance-based bonus
01:24 in the elementary and secondary schools for 2021.
01:28 This is because all 16 regional offices in DepEd have been given
01:32 special allotment release orders and notice of cash allocation
01:36 following the evaluation and validation of the DBM
01:40 in the submitted document of DepEd from April to August.
01:44 The final evaluation assessment of DepEd was released in January,
01:48 but only until April to August,
01:51 the required documents were submitted to the DBM to be released to the budget.
01:55 The DBM explained that this is possible because of the many qualified DepEd personnel
01:59 who will receive PBB of up to P900,000.
02:03 As for the Teachers Dignity Coalition,
02:05 they hope that teachers won't get used to the delayed benefits they receive.
02:10 This is because they are being asked to pass different agencies.
02:13 First, the Department of Education must declare that our agency is eligible.
02:23 There is a process that the Task Force on PBB uses,
02:30 composed of several agencies for one agency.
02:35 Only then will the assessment of the individuals begin.
02:43 If we apply that to the Department of Education,
02:46 we have close to 1 million teachers.
02:50 Meanwhile, in the revalidation of DepEd,
02:53 the documents of non-teaching personnel from 8 regional offices,
02:58 including NCR, CAR, Regional 3, 4A, 11, and 12,
03:05 are not included in the list of DepEd.

03:14 you
