00:37 As you know, we have started our study of Surah An-Nisa
00:40 The continuation of the long Madani Surahs is in that
00:43 Surah An-Nisa is also a long Madani Surah
00:45 And its beginning is mentioned in about 43 verses
00:48 with some important guidance for the society and some guidance for worship
00:53 and also guidance for women and orphans
00:59 Today we are going to start our study from Surah An-Nisa Ayat 11
01:03 Now two verses are coming in which Allah has given some instructions about inheritance
01:09 i.e. about the distribution of inheritance
01:11 This is a very important point of the Holy Quran
01:13 It needs a lot of attention
01:15 Although there are some details in the instructions and laws about inheritance
01:20 And whenever such a situation arises, we should learn from the scholars and the Muftis
01:24 about the Shariah and we should distribute the inheritance according to the religion of Allah
01:29 We should distribute the wealth of inheritance
01:31 We will translate and then we will explain further in front of you
01:35 We are starting our study from Surah An-Nisa Ayat 11
01:38 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan
01:41 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
01:43 Allah has given you a will concerning your children
01:49 The male will be equal to two daughters
01:57 If there are more than two daughters, then two-thirds of them will be left by the heir
02:10 And if there is only one, then half of them will be left
02:17 We will understand the first two or three points
02:20 Allah has given the instructions of inheritance
02:23 This is such an important matter that the Holy Quran also instructs us to pray
02:27 And it mentions about standing, prostration and prostration
02:29 But the mention of the prayer is not mentioned in the Holy Quran
02:32 We learned this from the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH)
02:36 But the matter of inheritance is so important that Allah has given the details and has specified the shares
02:44 This is Ayat 11, in this first the mention of the children and then the mention of the parents will come in front of us
02:50 The first point is that the male will be equal to two women and the son will have double the share of the daughter
02:56 The simple thing is that the Shariah has placed the responsibility of protection on the man
02:59 According to this, his share is more
03:01 And the responsibility of protection has never been placed on the woman
03:04 And yet it is being given to him
03:06 But the share of the son will be double the share of the daughter
03:10 Secondly, if there are more than two women, that is daughters
03:14 And this is mentioned in the details and the commentator mentioned
03:18 If there are more than two daughters, then two thirds will be left in the inheritance
03:24 And if there is only one daughter, then half of it will be left
03:27 This means that if someone has only one son, then he will get the total inheritance
