00:00 PTV Balita is now returning. More than a million pesos worth of marijuana was found in the buy-bust operation of Quezon City Police Station 4 and PEDEA-NCR in Novaliches earlier this morning.
00:13 According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Jerry Castillo, commander of Station 4, the operation was initiated in Good Haven 2 in Barangay Bagbag.
00:21 Three suspects were arrested in the buy-bust operation. Aside from the amount of marijuana, a bag of money worth P34,000 and a cellphone were also confiscated.
00:32 Meanwhile, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, local government and a private company in Manila Bay conducted a clean-up drive.
00:43 This is part of the International Coastal Clean-up or cleaning up our surroundings that is being done today. It was led by 11,000 volunteers.
