00:00 In Africa there is always a prey for every predator. The painted dogs named
00:13 for their uniquely colored coats. These are the so-called wild dogs of Africa.
00:20 Maybe they are not first-class predators but African wild dogs are tactical and
00:27 cooperative hunters where they use incredible stamina and speed to provide
00:33 food for the whole pack. An impala could be a good meal for this family. When wild
00:42 dogs decide to hunt there is an 80% chance that they will succeed in killing
00:48 prey. The preys are already spotted and the chase begins. The river may be the
01:00 only refuge for antelopes but with such a large number of wild dogs it will be
01:10 so hard for them to escape. A mother antelope and her son tried to cross the
01:18 river as fast as they can. Predators try to besiege antelopes from all directions.
01:26 The little one reached the other side of the river before his mother and ran as
01:32 fast as he could. On the other hand his mother was trapped in the river and she
01:40 could not get out. Despite this baby antelope's attempt he was easy prey for
01:49 wild dogs. As for the mother she was besieged and couldn't get out from water.
01:58 The mother kept looking for a way out but the wild dogs plan seemed to have
02:04 worked. Her fate will not be better than that of her baby. After desperate attempts
02:15 she found herself in the grip of wild dogs. Two preys at the same time it is a
02:21 great victory for them. That's when living in a pack pays off.
