01:32 A barangay officer of the barangay poblacion in Datu Piyang Maguindanao del Sur was killed in a robbery.

01:41 According to the police, the victim, Jun De Jesus, was shot in Barangay Kanguan.

01:46 His son was injured while driving a car.

01:50 They were admitted to a hospital but the officer was able to survive.

01:54 De Jesus is running for the barangay and his youth elections are in October.
