00:00 Yeah, a really exciting week for us here.
00:03 Super pumped about the crowd that we're about to see in Autzen.
00:05 I think there's a lot of excitement surrounding these games.
00:08 I know our players are really pumped to get out there.
00:11 I think Coach Sanders has done a great job, obviously, with his team.
00:13 He's created a lot of momentum, and
00:16 they've done phenomenal in their first three games.
00:18 So this will be a fun one for us.
00:20 >> Start on the left in the middle, Rob.
00:22 >> You're kicking off conference play in a league that has generated a lot of
00:27 attention for the success the last few weeks.
00:30 Just your reaction to kind of how the league is comporting itself through
00:34 non-conference play and then going into the media conference play.
00:38 >> Yeah, I think there's a lot of great teams in this conference.
00:40 And I think that's really evident with how they've performed outside of
00:43 the conference, right?
00:44 We kind of talk to our players about, hey, preseason over, right?
00:46 You've been playing opposing conferences, other teams, but
00:50 now this is when we get in the meat and potatoes of what really matters for us and
00:53 our goals that we wanna accomplish.
00:54 So there's some great teams.
00:55 I think we'll continue to see that each week.
00:57 I think we have a really tough schedule and
00:59 certainly a tough opponent coming up here this week.
01:02 >> Front left, James.
01:02 >> Dan, in addressing the penalties and creating accountability,
01:07 how far are you willing to take it in accountability?
01:10 And I ask him that if there's a delay of game, does Bo come out?
01:13 With a CQ exchange with Jackson, he had two illegal men downfield.
01:17 >> If it was their fault, it wasn't their fault.
01:21 >> On the men downfield, but- >> Mm-hm.
01:24 >> That's coaching error,
01:25 that's coaching error, and with some we gotta improve.
01:27 >> On the right, Zach.
01:30 >> Travis Hunter has talked before about his relationship with you.
01:33 Sounds like he won't be playing this game, but I'm curious what you think of,
01:36 what you've seen from him so far this year and his career at Colorado so far.
01:40 >> Yeah, he's a special player.
01:41 I absolutely hate that for Travis.
01:43 He's a dynamic kid.
01:45 He's got a special personality and obviously is tremendous on the football
01:49 field and he certainly gave them an edge.
01:51 So I hope he gets healthy soon.
01:54 I hate to not to get to see him play in this game cuz he's meant for
01:58 a stage like this, the stage that we're gonna have this Saturday.
02:00 >> Same row left here.
02:03 >> What stands out on film with Colorado offense and defense?
02:07 >> Yeah, Sean Lewis, their offensive coordinator does a phenomenal job.
02:11 He creates a lot of issues.
02:12 They're the fastest paced team in our conference.
02:14 They're obviously passing for a ton of yards.
02:17 Their quarterback's playing as well as anybody right now.
02:20 And he has a really good grasp of their system.
02:23 And I think that they do a great job of connecting on balls down the field,
02:26 having a lot of change ups,
02:28 creating some efficiencies in their offense with the tempo that they move with.
02:31 Defensively, Coach Kelly does a great job.
02:34 We're kind of cut from the same tree as far as philosophy and how he operates.
02:39 And I think they're playing well within their scheme.
02:44 They understand their strengths, their weaknesses.
02:47 They understand how to utilize their players.
02:48 And I think that shows up throughout the film for them.
02:51 >> Second row right here.
02:53 >> Yeah, on that note, obviously with Travis out,
02:55 how do you go about the challenge of trying to stop the two other receivers,
02:57 Weaver and Horn, just how much success they've had this season?
03:00 >> Yeah, they're both really, really talented.
03:02 They're really good.
03:02 They're people we have to be aware of on every snap.
03:05 And they're certainly not the only ones, right?
03:08 They're running back right now is a guy that we recruited out of Derby, Kansas.
03:11 And he'll probably be the fastest man on the field almost every time he's on
03:14 the field.
03:15 If not every time he's on the field on Saturday, he's got elite speed.
03:19 Weaver's been performing at a really high level, but they're dynamic.
03:22 We gotta make sure we know where those threats are at and
03:24 we can take care of them.
03:25 >> Front left, James.
03:26 >> I'm with Charles Kelly, but how similar is what he's running to what
03:32 either Pete ran last year or Jeremy Pruitt ran, what you guys are running now?
03:35 How much crossover is there in similarity to what Bo has seen before and
03:39 sees every day in practice?
03:41 >> There's similarities, but it's certainly not the same.
03:43 There's definitely things that we've modified that they don't do.
03:47 And there's certainly some things that they do that we don't do.
03:49 But there's definitely some similarities.
03:51 >> All the way in the back, Matt.
03:53 >> What's made Sanders such a good quarterback transferring from
03:57 the FCS level to this level?
04:00 >> I think he always keeps his eyes downfield and
04:03 looking for opportunities to find open receivers.
04:04 And that's something his wideouts have done a great job of when he's had several
04:08 scramble opportunities, but I would describe him as a guy that scrambles to throw.
04:11 Not necessarily scramble to run, but when he has to run with his feet, he can.
04:14 He's extended plays.
04:16 And when you extend plays, it's hard to cover for a long time.
04:18 Right, so we have to do a good job of not allowing him to extend plays, but
04:23 also make sure that we plaster guys in the back end when he does.
04:26 >> All right, Zach.
04:28 >> Going back to this last weekend, Cole Martin moved around a lot in the secondary.
04:31 He played deep, he played up in the box, he was in the slot.
04:33 Is that a product of you looking for where he fits best or
04:36 more of you kind of utilizing his versatility more?
04:39 >> Yeah, a combination of both, right?
04:41 We talk about always we want to multi-train players in multiple positions so
04:45 we can always have their strengths.
04:46 Cole's a really good football player probably regardless of what position you
04:49 put him at.
04:50 And just trying to figure out exactly where he can help us and
04:53 making sure that we can have our best 11 on the field.
