The Abandoned Hotel near Acorán seems to be a repeating example what has happened several times on Tenerife in the past. Investors buy land, start building a hotel and don't even bother with obtaining a permission to construct said hotel or resort. Things get messy, the legal situation gets worse and worse and investors pull out ... voilà you have a new URBEX Building for you to explore.
The property pictured in this video is fenced off but there are some weak spots, especially when you take the path down towards the water behind the abandoned hotel. We didn't dare to go inside during the bright hours of the day - so if you proceed, it's on your own risk :)
