00:25 - It was a little bit bittersweet
00:27 because I love my old girls.
00:29 My best friends, I call them, they grew up with me.
00:32 Like, they have been with me through thick and thin.
00:35 But there's something that happens
00:37 around your 40s and your 50s.
00:39 You look up and your boobs are not like in your 20s.
00:42 - The TV host shares on her daytime talk show
00:44 she had a reduction over the summer,
00:46 ditching her old-size 42DD for something lighter.
00:51 - I'm getting a little reduction.
00:52 - And with such a big change,
00:54 Sherri wanted to make sure it stayed under wraps, until now.
00:57 - I have been trying to hide them all summer.
01:00 I even did a video with my makeup,
01:02 my Emmy-nominated makeup artist, Rodney John,
01:05 and I was all covered up.
01:07 I was covered up with bandages.
01:08 I had my compression garments on.
01:09 I could barely move.
01:11 But if we didn't do this dance challenge,
01:13 it was gonna be over.
01:14 So we had to do it.
01:15 And I was wearing big clothes,
01:17 like a pregnant lady trying to hide her baby bump.

01:22 ♪ But some of the most beautiful things ♪
01:24 ♪ Come out my mouth ♪
01:25 - It feels great because I feel like now,
01:27 you always would see little bits of me in different things,
01:31 and now I can show you everything.
01:33 - As for why Sherri wanted the reduction.
01:35 - They were so heavy.
01:36 I was slouching all the time because of the weight.
01:39 I was slouching.
01:40 It started becoming really, really painful.
01:43 My back was hurting very badly.
01:46 I was getting the grooves in my shoulders
01:48 'cause you had to pull up your bra.
01:50 - The reduction comes just months
01:52 after Sherri had a minor wardrobe malfunction on her show.
01:55 - As the doors were opening up, the pin popped.
01:58 (audience gasping)
01:59 It popped, and so I just pulled it and threw it out.
02:02 So as I walked out, I could hear Willie go, "(gasps)."

02:06 - Yeah, Sherri recruited a team member
02:07 to fix the pin holding her dress together
02:09 while the show was live on air.
02:12 - So he is back here fixing it,
02:13 but he keeps pinning it in the back.
02:15 I keep telling him, "It's heavy.
02:16 "They're going to pull it forward."
02:18 - But her surgery shouldn't come as a big surprise.
02:21 Sherri, who's always an open book,
02:22 told ET her plans to make the change back in April.

02:27 I'm getting a little reduction
02:28 'cause my back is starting to hurt, so that's a big one.
02:30 Yeah, just for my health, you know?
02:32 I finally went to my doctor, and I just, I feel better.
02:37 I'm not gonna say I wish I had done this a while ago
02:39 because timing is everything.
02:41 God gave them to me.
02:43 They served me well.
02:45 But now, as I get older, I can sit up straight.
02:48 I feel lighter.
02:50 It's like it's easy to shop.
02:52 What you're seeing now is like love, laughter, joy.
02:55 - And we can always count on Sherri to keep it real,

03:00 - It's almost like weight loss, on my weight loss journey.
03:03 When you first start losing weight,
03:04 you can cross your legs, that's the thing.
03:06 You start seeing your collarbones.
